One standard page (SP) is 1800 characters including spaces.
With certified translations the price is calculated per physical page.
The minimum billable quantity is 1 SP (250 words).

Certified translations are endorsed by a certified translator and are stamped. The translated text is attached to the original (or a copy certified by a notary) and a translator’s endorsement in the form of a round stamp and string.

➣ For translations more than 10 SP long we generally use CAT tools (e.g. Wordfast, Trados).
➣ These are not automatic computer-generated translations, but are database programs using a translation memory.
➣ CAT tools enable translators to keep terminology consistent and to create a translation memory.
➣ CAT tools take account of segments that have already been translated, cutting the total cost and shortening the delivery deadline.
